

Elgin Shepherd Hut Company’s huts are designed and built by joiner, Simon Smith, who has a passion for traditional joinery and post and beam building techniques. He has used his years of experience in the contract joinery business to develop these huts and ensure that each and every hut is built with quality and care.
THE OPEN PLAN HUT ( Price on Application)
OVERVIEW
Our Open Plan Huthas a dividing wall and a sliding door to one end. It comes fully insulated and electrically wired with sockets and lighting. The external walls are built using vertical corrugated steel traditionally known as wriggly tin. Wooden hand painted windows and double entrance door are a standard. The huts sit on traditional cast iron wheels, draw bar and steel chassis, just as they were made 200 years ago.
This open plan hut can be used in lots of ways:
- Add a serving hatch and shelving and you have a kiosk hut
- Add your own desk and create a garden office hut.
- Or how about a yoga studio, man cave or spa treatment room? Or maybe a kids’ crash pad, booking/sales office, pottery studio or hobby room?

Our Intimate Sleeper Hut has a dividing wall and a sliding door to one end. It comes fully insulated and electrically wired with sockets and lighting. The external walls are built using vertical corrugated steel traditionally known as wriggly tin. Wooden hand painted windows and double entrance door are a standard. The huts sit on traditional cast iron wheels, draw bar and timber chassis, just as they were made 200 years ago. In addition to the this it has hot water heating, plumbing and sanitary ware, a shower, a kitchen, a bed and a dining area, transforming it into a wonderful tiny home.

DELIVERY
Please note delivery is not included in the hut price. A site survey and quotation for delivery can be submitted upon request.
PAYMENT TERMS
A 70% deposit is required upon the order confirmation and balance due on completion. The hut will be available for inspection prior to the final balance payable and delivery.
MANUFACTURE PERIOD
Approximately six weeks manufacture period subject to workload at time of order.
